Baan Unrak

An informal visit turned out to be an incredible experience at Baan Unrak.
The Neo-Humanist Foundation in Thailand as done great work with children, mothers and community at Sangkhlaburi.
This border town with Myanmar is the home for many children, families and communities in poor conditions. Fortunatley there are growing projects with the aim to trully help.

In that first visit Brainstorming Creations was invited to participate in a teacher training at the Baan Unrak Neo-Humanist School.

It turned out to be two months of stories for everyone.

We choose an Australian myth about the world’s creation and adapted it according to different ages. And we showed it to every child in the school. "The Rainbow Snake" played with each class and even inspired the 6th grade to create their own story for school´s ending celebration.

The Teacher Training on storytelling and showing happen during the Neo-Humanist Education Seminar - “Learning through Stories”. Two weeks playing and learning with stories.
